  1. I just got blocked from downloading from a certain newsgroup or ftp site. How do I override the block?
    To override the block you can login for override access via the following override webpage.

     
  2. I'm done browsing the internet. How do I re-enable the filter?
    Re-enabling the filter is as easy as closing your internet applications for at least 2 minutes. Your internet applications include: Your web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Mosaic), your ftp client (WS FTP, CuteFTP, FTP Explorer), or your news reader program (Outlook Express, Free Agent, among many others)

     
  3. How come I have to continuously login to bright.net Filtering?
    To avoid having to continuously login while using bright.net Filtering, you must keep the small window open that tells you that you are logged in. If that windows is closed you will be forced to login about every 2 minutes.
